The room at Relais Il Pennino was absolutely amazing! It was so bright and spacious, and the large terrace with a view of the Bay of Naples and Capri was breathtaking. I felt like I was living in a postcard.
Personally, I found the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom to be a bit lacking. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Sergio was extremely pleasant and willing to help with anything. The room was huge and with a huge terrace, all nicely finished, 100% clean. Fantastic local breakfast in the restaurant below, run by the Relais owners. The food was so good that we had dinner every evening there, honest italian food and wine at honest prices. Great location away from the lights of Amalfi and sorrento coasts, in a small village with nice local convenience stores. My only issue is that I want to keep this place secret for ourselves!!!!! An excellent stay.

The room at Relais Il Pennino was amazing, with a large terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples and Capri. It felt so bright and spacious, like a dream come true. The air conditioning and minibar were also a great addition, keeping us cool and refreshed during our stay. And the private bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries made us feel so pampered. the room provided a comfortable and luxurious experience, perfect for low-budget travelers like us.
If I had to find one thing I liked less, it would be the size of the suite. As a low-budget traveler, I would have preferred a smaller suite, as it felt a bit too spacious for our needs.

The staff at Relais Il Pennino were fabulous and went out of their way to help us. The rooms were very tasteful, large and spacious. The restaurant below Il Cantuccio 2 was also excellent and we enjoyed many delicious meals often eating off menu recommendations.

I recently stayed at Relais Il Pennino Bed & Breakfast and had an amazing experience. The location of the B&B is perfect, right in the centre of town and surrounded by beautiful olive trees, orange and lemon trees. From the balcony, I had a great view of the sea and the charming town. The Italian breakfast served at the terrace overlooking Capri island was a treat, with warm pastries and a lovely atmosphere. The B&B also has a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and wines, and the sunset view from the terrace is breathtaking. The staff were very helpful, organizing boat trips and taxis. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a view of Capri. a dreamy and memorable stay.
Nothing, everything was great! 😊

The location was perfect for exploring the nearby beaches and the city of Sorrento. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the cable TV provided entertainment for the kids. we would highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a centrally located and welcoming place to stay.
My wife says that the bed was a bit too stiff for our liking.

Il Pennino is in an excellent position a few km from Sorrento. It is situtaed in the main square in Massa Lubrense. The owner, Sergio, is a most charming host and nothing is too much trouble - he definitely goes that extra mile to make sure you have an excellent holiday. The hotel is small but very comfortable. Our room had a huge balcony, with table, chairs and sunloungers, and an absolutely stunning view over the Bay of Naples from Capri right round to Naples. The restaurant at the hotel is also excellent. Travel by public transport is efficient and cheap - buses run every 20 minutes to Sorrento and it's a 20-30 min journey. I would highly recommend Il Pennino.

The breakfast served every morning was delicious and the coffee was excellent. The location in Massa Lubrense was peaceful and a great base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

Welcoming host, friendly staff, breathtaking views, wonderful food. Our room was large, high-ceilinged, recently modernised and very comfortable. The large balcony, westerly-facing and overlooking Capri and the Bay of Naples, was a real bonus, especially to view spectacular sunsets. The food served in the atmospheric restaurant (Il Cantuccio is an established restaurant) was excellent, with Sergio the host and Franco the Head Waiter offering high quality "off-menu" options. Real local Campania cuisine. Relais Il Pennino is situated in Massa Lubrense, a small town just 5km south of Sorrento - a quiet spot with some great walks and a direct bus link to Sorrento.
Would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room

Wow, I'm still dreaming of my stay at this timeless villa-style hotel in Massa. The value for the money was outstanding, especially with the huge deluxe double room and gigantic balcony overlooking the ocean, Capri, and mount Vesuvius. The location was perfect with everything I needed just a few steps away, and the staff, especially Natasha and Sergio, were amazing and made me feel like a VIP.
The only thing that could have made breakfast even better would be to offer a wider variety of hot food options.

The location out of Sorrento, the view of the island of Capri and the staff. The adjacent restaurant made it easy with excellent food after a day touring the sights. The staff made our stay so easy.

Amazing breakfast with different and local options every day. Quaint and traditional Italian town - great for a more local holiday. Convenient location - with a square - bar, and church just a few steps away. Panoramic view of Capri from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff - with a well-known restaurant serving impeccable food

A fantastic old villa style building with a great ristorante attached on a lower ground floor - this also acts as a check-in. You will enjoy eating there, as the food is lovely and of good quality. The staff attentive and relaxed. The rooms are spacious with a large balcony on some rooms. The view either from the restorante or the balcony is straight out to the bay of Naples with Capri on the left and Ischia straight ahead - so pretty stunning! One room is quite dark with no view so make sure which room you are in. They also have another ristorante on the beach at Marina del Cantone which we are looking forward to visit next time.
A request not a complaint. There are 2 car parks. One is free but not recommended. The other , about 100 metres away, costs about 8 euroes a day via a pay meter. I wish you could just get a ticket, for your full stay or a week, via the hotel or tourest information office in the piazza.
